The keywords meta tag is placed within tags just before the tag of the HTML in the page. The syntax of the Keywords meta tag is:

- Seperate the keywords with commas.
- Ensure that the keywords used in the keywords meta tag are the same as those used within the webpage.
- Do not use any trademarks as keywords in the meta tag. Trademarks are protected by law and should not be used without permission even within the meta tags which are invisible to the webpage viewer.
